Somebody That I Used to know

Music can inspire emotions which then feed the creativity for hoop dance. Good music releases something fierce in this vid! It resonated with me anyway. It reminds me that there are so many people in this life that I feel a connection to and then loose that connection as time passes. This guy has one key move where he spins the hoop fast around his body and then raises the hoop above his head, arm fully extended while spining the hoop. Such a great move. really reflects the upwelling of emotion in those key moments in the song.

Weather is warming and hoopers are blooming

This is another fabulous vid! She has her own unique moves which is so rare to see in hooping videos. Her response to the music is seemless. I love the move where she is chest hooping and alternates extended arms above and below the hoop. This move reminds me of flying with the hoop! quite fun indeed.

This lady is so talented. She must have a background as a dancer. Her hooping is graceful. When I watch her hoop, it seems like she is a ballerina with a hoop. It is clear that she feels the music and is able to translate those feelings through hoop dancing. I am so inspired to incorporate this grace into my own hoop dancing.
